great solo! Russ is all over that album and I love everything he played. I talked to him once and he said a couple of the session guys left when they heard some of the lyrics 
I’ve had the privilege of playing this a couple times with Dean Ween and fairly regularly with Ween drummer Claude Coleman who lives in my town

I am new to steel, and this album is what got me hooked. I’ve just finished (not mastered) Franklin’s beginner course and now that I am ready to make some music, I’m going to pick this album apart. I’m curious if there is a an album that people use the licks as a template to learn PS
